6. Threat arising

Michaela had left the room to bring a glass of orange juice for Markus and a coke for herself. But actually, she wanted to leave those two confused people alone for some time. Meanwhile, the room was quiet, both of them said nothing other than looking at each other's eyes. Markus sat in the middle of the bed whereas the creature was sitting at the corner of the room, with crossed legs and hands-on his bulky thigh. His face was down, his body covered almost 1/3rd of the room and his head was almost touching the ceiling.

Markus couldn't control his curiosity anymore. He spoke out," Tell me one thing..." he said, looking at the creature, "Are you really from the future?" With a heavy and deep voice, the monster said," Youur faavourrriteee coollorr isszz Blueee". Markus asked, "What?" The monster continued," Yourr pett huskky dieed att thhe aagee of 6". Markus was shocked but he overcame it by saying," Maybe Michaela told you everything about me!" The monster finally raised his face and said," Youu or We aree afraid of spiderzz and haave arachnophobi". "What??" Markus asked him. "Arachnophobia", Michaela said, as she entered the room with a tray in her hand, containing two glasses of juice and a bag of fresh meat. She tossed the meat to the monster who efficiently opened the bag and started chewing the meat.

"I came to know about your phobia from him", Michaela said, offering the glass to him. "You never told me about it, but he told me since both of you are the same people from different timelines". Markus cried out," But why he isn't telling me anything about it?" "Because he can't" Michaela shouted at Markus," If he tells anything to you, your future will be changed!" "How?" Markus asked with doubt. "Look idiot, if he tells you everything about the decisions-good or bad whatever you are going to choose, then you will probably not choose it. Knowing your future is nothing but a curse. Your whole destiny will be changed, causing a big problem in time continuity".

"But how can we be sure that it is here to help us?" Markus asked her, she replied," We have to trust him, do you have any other choice?" Markus became quiet, Michaela's shoutings open makes him quiet. "And for god's sake, don't call him Monster, it's like calling yourself a monster, call him Marklo". "Marklo, from Markus?" he was a bit annoyed. Michaela ignored his question, and looked at the creature," Marklo, is very quiet for most of the time, he neither disturbs nor makes any noise, just like an intelligent being who knows what to do in a situation. He understands our knowledge, even knows how to eat food properly. All of these signs, clearly point that he was a human but something changed him. He was sent here, at this time, in the past, to do something or to protect someone." She slowly forwarded her hand towards Marklo. Like an innocent child, Marklo also forwarded his finger and touched her hand. This put up a smile on her face.
