Demonology- it's existence in a brief

Demonology revolves around the study of demons, spirits and their doctrines, and their skeletal framework of existence. According to the experts, they may be non-human, metahuman or just spirits that we often found in the old legends and stories. Some religious communities believe that all demons are not the same. The ancient texts and beliefs point that there may be thousands of demons that reside in nature and are around us everywhere. The Inuit are said to believe in spirits of the sea, earth and sky, the winds, the clouds and everything in nature. Greek Philosophers believed that the spirits spread throughout the world and the demons were worshipped by the Pagan Gods like Crnobog, Whiro, Sekhmet etc. The Koreans believe that there are thousands of demons everywhere around us.

The scholars have made many attempts to categorize demons to understand the biblical and mythological connection of demons and spirits in the holy books. Articles are written in Christian demonology, occultism and magic. The study of demonology was originally used to understand the behaviour and doctrines and was also used as symbolism to remind people of the ancient world of tales. In the book of Revelation, a war was depicted between satan and angels, after which satan was dismissed from heaven. The demons and fallen deities are also classified based on their appearance, methods of torment, powers etc. Scholars believe that the two renowned identities, namely Azael and Satan have a huge influence on the demonologic culture. Satanael is also depicted as the commander of the fallen angels. Many people acknowledge that Lucifer and Satan are the same but still, it is uncertain.

Some texts such as the Lesser Key of Solomon or The Grimoire of Pope Honorius (although these, the earliest manuscripts, were from well after these people had died) are written with pedagogy on how to summon demons in the name of God and often were claimed to have been written by individuals respected within the Church. Not all Christians believe in the existence of demons. According to Lantern's classifications

4. Abadone( represents sloth)

5. Mammon( represents greed)
