3. Got a friend

The school bell rang, it was the time for their departure. Markus started packing his bag, meanwhile, he saw Gareth, the class bully waiting at the class door. When their eyes met, Markus had already realised that Gareth was waiting for him. So he started putting his things super slowly, which will give him enough time to think and make an escape plan. But impatient Gareth couldn't wait for even a minute, so he charged at him. "Hey freak, I have told you to complete my maths assignment, where it is?" Markus, trying to remain calm as usual, told him directly," Try to complete your work yourself". Gareth, however, was not in a good mood that day, so without saying any word, he raised his hand for a powerful punch. Markus closed his eyes at once to endure the pain. 

However, he couldn't feel anything smashed at his face. He remained close his eyes, hoping to be punched soon, but that didn't happen. He was guarded by the all-powerful and dominating girl of the class Michaela. She stood in front of him, acting as his bodyguard. "Leave him alone, assholes! Or else you will soon find yourself in the detention room", she said with a loud, strict voice. Gareth left the duo, with an angry look on his face determined to take revenge later. Markus was overwhelmed with tears; he grabbed Michaela's hand and said "Thank you" a hundred times. Michaela was his best friend, and the only one to protect him from the bullies. She came from a rich family, her father was a rich business and her mother is no more. Strangely, she found herself comfortable around Markus. Without her, Markus can't imagine a single day in school.

"I want to show you some cool stuff, you got free time Mark?" Before he could say yes, Michaela pulled his hand and took him out of the school. Running madly on the streets, she took a sharp right turn from the main road and went down the street, to her home. She lives in a big mansion, which is whitewashed from top to bottom; they have their huge lawn, flower garden, thousands of rooms and a long-high main gate. They also own a good amount of royal cars. Whenever Markus visits her mansion, he just stands at the main gate and watches the great building with big eyes. He had never expected to visit such a grand mansion, that too belonging to his best friend.

"Are you done looking at the house?" Michaela asked him," yes totally, I forgot you wanted to show me something right?" Michaela said," follow me to the top room, I will show you something that you have never seen in your life!" She walked down the stairs to the basement ( if you can call it a basement) and opened the door. She pushed Markus to enter the room. It was pitch black; he couldn't see anything but he felt something is moving or making a hissing noise. Michaela switched on the lights; then a tall, bulky yellowish creature stood up; which was previously laying on the ground; it was at least 8 feet tall, had strong arms, greenish eyes and hair all over the body; which looked like a caterpillar. Markus cried out in horror," Mm...mmm...monn...MONSTERS!"
