 Darkest Corners---part 1

7. The Evil Lamentasis

Sarah was driving through the dark paths of the Eastwood forest. It was dark outside, she could hear sounds of wild animals, coming from the long bushes, present on both sides of the road. The sky was totally clear, there were at least 10,000 stars present on the night sky, sparkling brightly, which added to the beauty of the night( if you want to call it a "beautiful, romantic" night!). Her boyfriend Harry was drunk, he could barely walk to his home, so Sarah decided to drop him. Driving through the forest in the dark, she got an eerie, strange feeling, like someone is constantly watching her from the bushes. A shiver ran down her spine several times, but she ignored it, thinking that she is imagining things.

"Man! I had to stop watching horror movies, it feels that we are totally in a horror place at a wrong time, where we will find a 5000 old haunted house with an awful ghost lurking in it", Sarah said, smiling at Harry. Harry, who is strangely in a romantic mood, decided to follow the same path," I always loved your sense of humour, Sarah, but do you know what people do before entering the haunted house?" To this Sarah replied," Yes, they introduce themselves, crack some non-funny jokes, try to face their fears, pretend they know everything about ghosts; although they don't!" Harry said, "No, no, no; I am not talking about that; I am talking about...", he blinked at Sarah to convey his idea. To this Sarah replied, "No son, we ain't doing those things here, cause we are close to ....."

Before she could finish her words, she felt that something just ran beside her car and overtook them; something faster than the speed of light. A moment later, she saw a giant creature standing in front of her car, just a few yards ahead. The creature was at least 9 feet tall, it had very long arms which added to its size. Its whole body was in the air and its long arms had kept his body in the air. His face was unmistakably ugly, his legs were small and full of nail-like structures, his upper body was like a bear with two extra small hands, coming out from his back. Sarah stopped the car at the instant, she was shocked to see that creature. Harry thought it was a ridiculous joke. He got out of the car, and hurried at the monster, acting like he knows everything. Sarah, on the other hand, stayed in the car, her hands froze, she asserted Harry did not go out, but what she was going to watch was awful.

The monster clasped Harry with one of his arms, and held him above the ground, in the air. He pulled out some kind of fangs from its arm and shove it directly into Harry's chest. He laid out a terrible, bloodcurdling scream and fell. It was blood everywhere, he was almost lifeless. Sarah was frightened, her hands were cold and sweating; she could see Harry dying in front of her, but she couldn't do anything. She heard Harry calling her name but she choose to ignore it, for her own life. Now, the monster was slowly moving towards her car. She hid in the backseats, trying to stop her breath for a moment. The monster was just an inch from her car, she could hear its moaning voice and sense its anger, its mind was full of revenge, pain and torture. 

Suddenly, the monster inhales something in the air, as if it was trying to search for someone. It laid out a howl, a pitch of his entrance and his gruesome plans. It smiled at the dead body of Harry as if it enjoyed killing him. He bite off his head, and chewed it, knowing the fact that Sarah was watching everything from the backstreet. It growled again, twice the earlier voice, saying," Itzz comming alliveee"!
