12. Meeting Regina

The group was standing in front of the bunker door. It would have taken just a minute for them to open the door and run away from the bunker, but they chose to stay there, knowing that more danger is waiting outside for them. The black hoodie person was still standing motionlessly in front of them, her head was hanging low and her hands were behind her back. She raised her head and revealed her face, which was shocking for them. 

"Bella?", Markus cried out, "I thought you are no more, and what...", before he could continue, the hoodie-figure or so-called Bella said out," I AM NOT BELLA! I may be looking like her, but I am not, people call me Regina". "But you look like the child, who went missing a few weeks ago and Regina, the founding member of the company died many years ago," Michaela said. "Yes, I know her, actually I was there when she died, I saw my doppelganger die in front of me, and believe me, it was painful". "What do you mean by that?", Sara asked, who was listening to them quite eagerly. 

"Okay, so let's start from the beginning. In the future, Regina had created a kind of serum that will enhance a person cognitively and motor abilities, thus giving the person more speed, stamina, agility, immense strength, excellent memory, healing and regenerative abilities. However, the human mind will not be able to control those powers. To overcome this side-effect, her company created a neurotoxin that will increase your neuron impulses up to a thousand times it will convert them to monsters. However, when future Regina found out about this, she sent me here, in the past to inform Regina herself if required kill her too. When she died, the whole timeline changed and that's the reason why Teufel is here, to kill you all".

"So you have killed Regina, which technically makes you a murderer, and now you expect us to believe you?" "I know you can't trust me, but still you don't have any other option, right?", Regina said, smirking at her. Sara cried out," I think we should give her a chance to prove herself". "What if she is just lying in front of us, what if it's just a trap!" Markus said. Michaela moved forward, she looked into her eyes and said," Then it will be her last mistake". Regina smiled back," Let's do this then, bitch, I don't have much time, you know".
